Description of the event

Nach der umjubelten Premiere im April 2024 wird es auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein Konzert in reiner Streicherbesetzung in der modernen Saalkirche St. Erhard in Ahrain geben. Andreas Martin Hofmeir dirigiert das Streichorchester der Sinfonietta Essenbach. Ganz nach dem Festival-Motto "Man hört nur mit dem Herzen gut!" steht gefühlsintensive Musik nordischer Komponisten auf dem Programm: Die bekannte Suite "Aus Holbergs Zeit" von Edvard Grieg, die "Little Suite for Strings" von Carl Nielsen sowie Werke von Sergej Rachmaninow.
