Description of the event

Keno Harriehausen verbindet Jazz und Klassik zauberhaft. Verträumt und packend, dramatisch und subtil begegnen uns die Stücke des Hamburger Pianisten. In der ungewöhnlichen Zusammensetzung aus Piano, Bass, Cello und Saxophon malen die vier Musiker impressionistische Landschaften, in denen wir zuhörend wandern können, ob in den komponierten Parts oder in den improvisierten Soli. Man hört Ravel und Schostakovitsch, skandinavische Klangfarben und amerikanischen Free Jazz. Ein erstaunlicher Brückenschlag zwischen den Welten, der in jeder Note stimmig ist.
