Description of the event

Der Respekt vor dem Klang ihrer Instrumente, sowie die Lust am gemeinsamen Entwickeln der damit möglichen neuen Klangbilder, führt zwei Musiker zusammen. Der Cellist Matthias Bartolomey und der Geiger und Mandolaspieler Klemens Bittmann führen in ihrem Zusammenspiel ihr stark in der klassichen Musiktradition verankertes Instrumentarium auf einen neuen Weg. Mit Spontanität und Improvisation der Jazzästhetik verbinden sie intim groovende bis hin zu kraftvoll rockenden Elementen.
