Description of the event

Bekannte und eher selten gehörte amerikanische Christmassongs, ausgewählte deutschsprachige Weihnachtslieder und einige Instrumentalstücke bilden das musikalische Gerüst dieser einzigartigen Weihnachtsrevue. Im über 90-minütigen Konzertprogramm treffen Kompositionen von Donny Hathaway und Stephanie Mills auf funky Arrangements von Wilson Pickett oder Dionne Warwick. Unbekannte Christmassongs von den Emotions wechseln sich mit Traditionellem ab, Chet Atkins schaut vorbei und am Ende tanzen alle den „Boogie-Woogie Santa Claus“. In diesem Jahr wird das Programm wieder erneuert, das Konzert in der Sünde ist das erste Gastspiel des Ensembles in Weiden.
