Description of the event

Hip-Hop trifft Jazz, Quartett trifft Orchester, TOYTOY trifft die NDR Bigband: Bei der Begegnung und wechselseitigen Befruchtung zweier zumeist weit voneinander entfernten Musiksphären kommt zusammen, was schon immer zusammengehört. Ein gemeinsames Konzert!
Not macht erfinderisch. Als das gemeinsame Musizieren dem Gebot der Kontaktminimierung zum Opfer fiel, ersannen Silvan Strauß, Drummer des Hamburger Electro-Jazz-Quartetts TOYTOY und Geir Lysne, ein Projekt, das die kontaktreduzierte Arbeitsweise von Hip-Hop und aktueller Popmusik mit der klanglichen Wucht einer Big Band zusammenbringt.
