Description of the event

The King's Singers sind die unangefochtenen Könige der A-cappella-Welt. 1968 gegründet, steht das britische Sextett seit mehr als 50 Jahren an der Weltspitze der Vokalensembles. Kein sechsstimmiges Werk haben sie in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten ausgelassen: Choräle, Werke der Renaissance, der Romantik und der Neuzeit, Songs von den Beatles oder Billy Joel, Gospels und Spirituals. In ihrem Programm "Legacies" feiern sie 500 Jahre Musikgeschichte und präsentieren Werke von Byrd bis hin zu Walt Disney. Mit ihrem wunderbar britischen Humor sind die King's Singers vollendete Entertainer – mit bestem Draht zum Publikum, das sie mit Freuden auf ihre virtuos-vokalen Reisen mitnehmen.

Als "Special Guests" treten im Konzert die Regensburger Domspatzen gemeinsam mit den King's Singers auf!
