Description of the event
The Henry Girls – das sind die Schwestern Karen, Lorna und Joleen McLaughlin aus Donegal. Mit Harfe, Fiddle, Akkordeon und dreistimmigem Gesang verbinden sie keltische Wurzeln mit amerikanischem Folk, Bluegrass und Pop. Inspiriert von Clannad, den Dixie Chicks und den Andrew Sisters, entwickelten sie einen ganz eigenen Stil. Seit ihrem Debüt 2012 begeistern sie auch in Deutschland. Ihre Konzerte sind musikalische Reisen voller Gefühl, Harmonie und Energie – mit Songs, die über Kontinente und Generationen hinweg verbinden.
