Description of the event
Eine kleine Unachtsamkeit führt zu einer Tragödie. Der pflichtbewusste Bahnhofsvorsteher Thomas Hudetz stellt ein Signal nicht rechtzeitig. Die Folge: Ein Zugunglück mit 18 Toten. Dabei kann er eigentlich nichts dafür. Die hübsche Wirtstochter Anna hatte ihn in einen Flirt verwickelt, um seine krankhaft eifersüchtige Ehefrau zu ärgern. Anna beteuert vor Gericht Hudetz` Unschuld, er wird freigesprochen. Doch Anna beginnt, unter ihrer Schuld zusammenzubrechen. Auch Thomas Hudetz kann so nicht mehr weiterleben. Ödön von Horváth stellt in seinem spannenden Drama Fragen nach Schuld und Sühne, nach Gewissen und Gerechtigkeit. Regie: Gundula Hiendl
