Description of the event
Gitarre und Gesang in Perfektion: Seit zwanzig Jahren setzen Voice & Strings nur mit Stimme und Gitarre Maßstäbe. Die beiden gelten für viele als ein Ausnahme-Duo im poppigen Jazz & Soul-Bereich, als eine unglaublich einfühlsame, vielseitige Sängerin, die vom Gitarristen Hans Yankee Meiers geführt und getragen wird. Steffi Denk avancierte über die Jahre bei deutschlandweiten Tourneen mit der „SWR Big Band“ und den Swing-Legenden Max Greger, Paul Kuhn und Hugo Strasser zu einer der „schärfsten Stimmen“ im deutschsprachigen Bereich, während Yankee Meier der hohe technische und musikalische Standard eines Joe Pass oder Earl Klugh bescheinigt wird.
