Description of the event
Olicía sind mit ihrer Musik unablässig auf der Suche nach neuen Ideen, ihre Songs werden dabei zu immer neuen Fassungen, Formen und Erkundungen von Gefühlen und Lebensumständen. Das Bandprojekt der beiden Multiinstrumentalistinnen Anna-Lucia Rupp und Fama M’Boup entwirft einen völlig eigenen Klangkosmos, der Einflüsse zwar zulässt, diese aber nie als bloße Zutat begreift. Wenn sich wie bei „Bleu“ ein Chanson und ein rollender Jazzentwurf gegenüberstehen, der fast schon in den Bossa Nova übergeht. Anna-Lucia Rupp und Fama M’Boup beschreiben ihre Musik gern in Farben, Jahreszeiten, Gefühlen und winzigen Gesten – man könnte „Liquid Lines“ auch beschreiben als ein einziges Einreißen von Grenzen mithilfe zweier weiblicher Stimmen.
