Description of the event
Die UK Afro-Jazz-Band Nubiyan Twist, angeführt von Tom Excell, präsentiert ihre neue Single 'So Mi Stay' und kündigt ihr viertes Album für Frühjahr 2024 an. Die Band, bekannt für ihren eklektischen Stil und kraftvollen Big-Band-Sound, eroberte mit ihrem 2021er Album 'Freedom Fables' weltweit die Herzen. 'So Mi Stay', entstanden aus der Zusammenarbeit von Excell und der neuen Texterin Aziza Jaye, vereint Jazz und Dancehall zu einem tanzbaren Hit. Aziza's lebendige RnB- und Patois-Vocals prägen das Lied, das vom Tanzen und im Moment verloren Sein erzählt. Seit ihrer Gründung 2011 haben Nubiyan Twist zahlreiche Bühnen, darunter das Glastonbury Festival und Jools Holland's TV-Show, erobert und gelten als einer der spannendsten Acts der britischen Musikszene.
