Description of the event

Mozarts c-Moll Messe ist neben dem Requiem der Höhepunkt seines kirchenmusikalischen Schaffens, eine virtuose Messe voller Glanzpunkte und himmlischer Stimmungen. Spürbar ist in dieser Messe Mozarts Beschäftigung mit barocken Vorbildern wie Bach und Händel. Und so wird das Konzert mit einer der schönsten Kantaten Bachs eröffnet: "Es ist genug".
