Description of the event
La Petite Écurie ist ein international besetztes Ensemble bestehend aus Barockoboen (franz. „Hautbois“), Taille, Barockfagott und historischen Schlaginstrumenten. Ausgehend von der „Grande écurie“ Ludwigs XIV., in der neben anderen Formationen die meisten seiner Bläser angestellt waren, verbreitete sich die beliebte Oboe in diversen Gruppierungen bald im restlichen Europa. La Petite Écurie schickt die Hörer auf eine musikalische Reise durch europäische Musikzentren des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts. Die „Grand Tour“ beginnt in Frankreich, dem „Geburtsland“ der Oboe, mit Jean-Baptiste Lully und Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, führt über England zu Henry Purcell, macht in Italien Station bei Pietro Antonio Locatelli und endet in der deutschen Hansestadt Hamburg mit Johann Christian Schieferdecker.
