Description of the event
Im Jazz und damit in der Gegenwart verwurzelt, nehmen der Pfaffenhofener Pianist und Kulturförderpreisträger 2015 Kilian Brock sowie der in Bern ansässige Schlagzeuger Felix Wolf immer wieder Bezug auf jahrhundertealte Melodien der Advents- und Weihnachtszeit und stellen diese in ein Verhältnis zu ihrem persönlichen Entwurf zeitgenössischer Musik. Die Aufnahmen, die aktuell sowohl im Studio in Bern als auch in Pfaffenhofen stattfinden, mischen akustische Instrumente wie Klavier, Drums, Harmonium, Streichquartett und sogar akustisch aufgenommene Kirchenorgeln mit aktuellen elektronischen Mitteln der Studioproduktion.
