Description of the event
Mit Jim Snidero kommt einer der absoluten Weltklasse - Altsaxophonisten nach 2010 zum 2. Mal nach Weiden: In der renommierten Musikzeitschrift „Downbeat“ wird er über Jahre hinweg als eine der bedeutendsten Saxophonisten im Kritikerpool sogar als „5-Star Musician“ gelistet. Der Mann mit dem genialen Sound holt nicht nur aus schier unerschöpflichen Quellen Ideen für seine mitreißenden Improvisationen, er hat sich auch im Bereich Jazzeducation einen Namen gemacht: Kaum ein Saxophonschüler kennt seine Übungshefte und Play-Alongs nicht! Klar, dass er für seine Europatournee erstklassige Sidemen auf unsere Bühne bringt. Der bei uns bestens als virtuoser Meisterdrummer bekannte Rick Hollander sorgt für das rhythmische Fundament in dieser Spitzenformation. Ein absolutes Highlight im Jubiläumsjahr!
