Description of the event
Das preisgekrönte französische Bläserensemble Into the Winds (Gewinner des Van-Wassenaer-Wettbewerbs 2019 und Teilnehmer am europäischen Kooperationsprojekt für Alte Musik EEEMERGING+ erkundet im Reichssaalkonzert eine große Vielfalt an Tänzen aus Mittelalter und Renaissance. Von der Estampie über die Ductia, den Saltarello, die Basse danse bis zu anderen vergessenen Tänzen zeichnet Into the Winds das Bild einer lebendigen und farbenfrohen Tanzwelt voller Kontraste. Es erklingen Tänze u.a. von Domenico da Piacenza, Heinrich Isaac, Jacob Obrecht, Hilaire Penet, Claude de Sermisy, Vincenzo Ruffo, Diego Ortiz, Tilman Susato und Michael Praetorius. Teile dieses Programms erschienen 2023 auf der ersten vielgelobten CD des Ensembles beim Label Ricercar.
