Description of the event

CARA ist eine multinationale Celtic Folk-Band, die bereits mit zwei Irish Music Awards und zahlreichen weiteren Preisen ausgezeichnet wurde. 2003 schlossen sich die vier eng befreundeten Musiker zu CARA (gälisch: Freund) zusammen. Bis heute prägt ihre Freundschaft und die Liebe zur traditionellen Musik Irlands und Schottlands die Band. Die träumerischen Balladen, die archaische gälische Mouth Music und ihre eigenen Songs leben vom Stimmklang der beiden Lead-Sängerinnen Gudrun Walther und Kim Edgar. Rasante Instrumentalstücke im virtuosen Zusammenspiel von Fiddle und irischem Dudelsack sorgen für Abwechslung zwischen den Songs.

Für Tickets an der Abendkasse berechnen wir einen Aufschlag von 2,00 € pro Person.
