Description of the event
Das 36. Rathauskonzert in Vohenstrauß bietet Ihnen ein wunderschönes und außergewöhnliches Barockprogramm in der Evangelischen Stadtkirche. Das ARTE ENSEMBLE - Solisten der NDR Radiophilharmonie - gestaltet das Programm gemeinsam mit der hevorragenden Sopranistin Laura Demjan, Vohenstrauß, und dem renommierten Sänger / Countertenor Franz Vitzthum, geb. im nahen Lennesrieth. Laura Demjan studierte Gesang an der MHS Saarbrücken und folgte Einladungen an verschiedene Bühnen, so z.B. an die Oper Nürnberg, das Saarländische Staatstheater und das Théâtre National du Luxembourg. Franz Vitzthum erhielt seine erste musikalische Ausbildung bei den Regensburger Domspatzen und studierte bei Kai Wessel an der MHS Köln.
