Description of the event

Skandinavien feat. New York – ja, genau: So klingt Rasmus Sørensen. Eine geschmeidige Fusion aus elastischen Improvisationen, komplexen Rhythmen und vielschichtigen Harmonien. Ein Groove, so lebhaft wie die Stadt, die niemals schläft.

In seinem jüngsten Studioalbum »At the Right Time« setzt er auf kompakte, energiegeladene Stücke: zwölf facettenreiche Kompositionen, verbunden durch einen subtilen roten Faden. Mit Jon Henriksson am Bass und Cornelia Nilsson am Schlagzeug ergibt sich ein homogener Sound – reichhaltig, organisch und instinktiv stimmig.
