Description of the event

Der Berliner Gitarrist Jörg Seidel hat aus Anlass des 90. Geburtstages Caterina Valente´s 2021 sein Projekt „Viva Valente!“ auf die Bühne gebracht, um dem gigantischen Lebenswerk dieser großartigen Künstlerin eine gebührende Hommage zu widmen. Sie sang nicht nur 1.500 Schlager, Lieder und Chansons in 13 Sprachen, sondern spielte auch in Filmen und wirkte in zahlreichen Fernsehshows mit. Jetzt ist Catarina Valente leider im September 2024 im Alter von 93 Jahren verstorben, sodass diese Ausnahmekünstlerin jetzt umso mehr eine musikalische Würdigung verdient hat. Nun haben sich vier grandiose Künstler*Innen zusammengefunden, um einen Ausschnitt aus Caterina Valentes Repertoire aus den unterschiedlichsten Genres zu spielen...Jazzklassiker, deutsche Schlager und Bossa-Nova.
