Description of the event
CubaBoarisch 2.0 hat einen neuen Maßstab gesetzt: Die musikalische Völkerverständigung zwischen Kuba und Bayern ist von den Festivals nicht mehr wegzudenken. Ob Salsa, Son oder Landler, die Band hat es einfach im Blut – flotte kubanische Rhythmen ebenso wie die erdigen bayerischen. Kein Wunder, denn an der Front der spritzigen Band stehen zwei Powerpakete: Die kubanische Vollblutmusikerin und Sängerin Yinet Rojas Cardona und das Chiemgauer Original Leo Meixner. Yinet ist eine echte Guantanamera – sie wurde in Guantanamo geboren und lebte lang in der kubanischen Hauptstadt Havanna. Nicht von ungefähr heißt deswegen der neue Tourhit der Cubaboarischen „Havanna Viva! – als Yinets Hommage an die vor Musik und Energie sprudelnde Heimatstadt.
