Description of the event
Mit der Manfred Mann’s Earth Band kommt eine der einflussreichsten Rockbands nach Bayreuth. Seit über 50 Jahren begeistert sie mit ihrer Mischung aus Rock, Jazz und Blues. Gegründet 1971 von Manfred Mann, wurde sie mit "Blinded by the Light" weltberühmt – einem Song, der 1976 die US-Charts anführte. Heute steht die Band mit Ex-Bad Company-Sänger Robert Hart für anspruchsvollen Rock mit unverwechselbarem Sound. Ebenfalls dabei: The Sweet. Die britischen Glamrock-Ikonen um Andy Scott prägten die 70er mit Hits wie "Love Is Like Oxygen" und "The Ballroom Blitz". Mit über 30 Millionen verkauften Alben und spektakulären Shows zählen sie bis heute zu den besten Live-Acts. Die Classic Rock Night verspricht über drei Stunden Rock pur – ein Muss für Fans hochkarätiger Live-Musik!
